Game Description

Fathers have been shown to go to extreme lengths for their families to a point where they may never come back to a normal life like in The Lonesome Shooter - A Father's Retribution. This tale follows a father who is living a quiet life on a farm when his only son enlists in the army and goes off to war. After some time, he gets the heartbreaking news that his son was killed in action. However, he decides to investigate the incident on his own and learns that his son was sacrificed by his companions. Armed with the truth and a lot of weapons, he sets off to expose the truth and get revenge.

How to Play

Shooting games tend to focus on the action rather than the context for the action and sometimes there can be heavy meaning behind it. This game weighs it heavily by giving you a father who is trying to avenge his son. You get that the father is prepared to lose everything but still needs to survive long enough to make a lasting impact and make sure his revenge has meaning. You have a lot of weapons and anger behind the character, but this doesn't mean that you can get careless as you will be hunted as soon as you're detected.
